Add one more to the minority! I would have loved to see the full on face of this cutie. That being said, this is a wonderful photo regardless!

I think I’m going to be in the minority here and say I would have cropped it in closer. That expression makes me want to see those eyes closer and a little more detail in that gorgeous coat….
I would have tried to leave in some of the water to give an indication of the setting (and explain that look on the dog’s face!)

Poor little thing looks a little uncomfortable in the water by the expression on her face… my first thought was to remove the fellow’s head but it felt reassuring to know someone was with her.

I see the conundrum … I don’t know what to do for the ‘closely cropped’ theme either. I agree though, the human head adds a lot to the image. I’ve never seen a dog that looked so bummed about being in the water though. OK, there are a couple doggie bath times that come to mind …
Great shot.

I think the owner’s head in the photo adds an interesting effect. Great-looking pup enjoying a dip!

I love the dog! I would love to see it with the head photoshopped out…Hahaha…coming from someone who does not even own PS thats a stretch I am sure,

This is, indeed, a chow! I know as I am owned by a black one. I’ve never seen a cream colored chow before. What a face!

Her name is Nana and her guy said he got her from a chow rescue. He also said she dislikes cameras so was glad to get photos of that amazing face.
Kim, your chow is an amazing color, as if she got into some henna…

I agree with iona, the focus on the guys head adds a lot to the dog’s expression.

Nice photo–I agree, it is fine as is.

Nope. I think you left it where it should be. Sometimes cropping it tightly is not the answer. 😀
Nice shot. I also like the expression on this dog’s face. Is this a Chow?
