Wood boats are a lot of work, especially when they are turning 100. This is the schooner Adventuress,
here she is in the marina a few years ago.

I’m reading a novel right now set in the 1800s and the male character is a boat builder. Reading the description of how boats were made in those days has been fascinating, and your photo could be taken from that book.

I remember going to see them restoring Amistad in New Haven. Imagine going to sea in one of these!
