I saw several of these shops, a franchise opportunity in Singapore?

The entire island of Singapore was ringed by ships of every sort.  With negligible tides and protected waters it is one busy port.

A few minutes after yesterday’s photo on Arab St. in Singapore, those many downspouts were  gurgling like mad.

Below is another corner of the same street, I liked this food mash-up. I think Ikea does use pork….

I’m not a shopper but there were great textiles and other cool things.

It is just about the Year of the Dragon, I hope it is a good one for everyone! 

I wish now that I had bought those strings of firecracker lights…

Getting a hand in digging out of the darn snow was very welcome.

According to my ruler and map Mt. Rainier is 105 miles away if you fly with a crow  from this  beach at Fort Worden, the state park in my town.

This was last Saturday, I used Doris’s Vintage  preset in Topaz Adjust tweaked at at a fairly low opacity. It is rare for such a clear shot of Rainier, lots of human stuff  between here and there.

Snow really makes things quiet, all you could hear walking down the driveway  this morning was me grumbling about how much I hate snow.  Chloe likes it though…

There is a lot of snow on the trees here which is really pretty but I prefer to share some tropical trees. Very large ferns grow on the trees lining the streets of Singapore.

These trees below, which my brother says are cannonball trees whose amazing flowers are used in Hindu rites were pretty amazing.

I think someone arranged this old boat to make a more picturesque scene.  I haven’t taken many photos the last few weeks but the mountains were glowing the other day. That is Mount Baker.
