Nice job with this lens. I had one and never could find the sweet spot (too many soft image) AND too spoiled with a zoom to truly like zooming with my feet. If I had seen this image earlier, I might have decided against selling it.

This is beautiful! The reflection of the trees is a perfect juxtaposition to the stillness of the heron.

You’re doing admirably – I can’t imagine being able to manage a camera one-handed. I love this shot and while it would be cool to see the bird close up, there is a lot to be said for seeing so much of the habitat. One thing we’d have missed if you’d had a longer lens is the glorious reflections.
