I hate the snow too! Luckily we don’t see much here. I love the bright green peeking out; the evergreen needles I understand but what on Earth are those stubborn leaves on the left doing staying green under that white stuff?!? Chloe looks like she’s built for winter, with that great coat.
Neat shot! I love how the path leads our eyes around the bend.

This is a beautiful scene!! I will admit that I tend to enjoy snowy scenes much more from within the comfort of my well stocked house!

Love the composition!!!!! Haven’t had any snow here this year, and I’m missing it! Your drive looks like a winter wonderland…..

Ellen – this is a wonderful image! I love how Chloe is looking back at you and saying “Come on – it’s not that bad!”

So beautiful! At a first glance I nearly thought of a little bear in winter-forest …

So, that’s snow then? Was beginning to forget what it looks like. We don’t really get proper snow in England. Chloe is so lovely. Please let me adopt her

She is saying Shh, “I’m listening to here a tree fall in the forest, if there is a sound!

This looks so peaceful. This sounds weird, but I can almost hear the silence. Great job exposing for all that snow!

Chloe doesn’t know any better, but makes for a fine subject. I was out at 6:45 working in blowing snow and a -10 wind chill. It hasn’t been a good year for me so far.

This is a beautiful shot. I feel like I am on that quiet path with you ….cursing the snow. But, hey, as long as Chloe is happy…..

OMG… this has to be the first time I’ve seen so much snow in your pictures – and Chloe looks so good in it! Very pretty Ellen and your exposure is excellent.
Here’s another way to look at it – “snow simplifies everything” .

Hamish loves the snow too. Actually, me too! Your shot is beautiful… I love the way Chloe is framed by the trees.
And……..I am so glad to see your “stop censorship” banner. As you likely know, I am very much against SOPA/PIPA.

love this – Chloe adds some subtle colour to an almost B&W scene
