wonderful – the seats and the reflection
thanks for your visits and comments on my blog, commenting on flickr is fine with me, whatever is easiest. I am still getting a fair number of spam on the blog (possibly from Japan, I think) hence why I set it to moderation otherwise they appear and I might miss deleting one.

What makes this such a fun shot is that city skyline beyond the worn wooden deck chairs. My mind is expecting to see a tranquil beach scene or maybe a peaceful woody lake and instead I’m met with downtown Chicago!

Great perspective. Love the reflections.

The heights of the chairs and tables mimmick the buildings across the way. Love the patch of greenery between the two.

I find this delightfully amusing: the formal classic skyscrapers in the distance, and the kick-back and relax chairs looking out at them. Great contrast!

From one extreme to the other: the relaxtion to the busy city, and so close together!

Genius perspective, Ellen. The reflections are fabulous, too. A prize winning picture.

Nice! Too bad it was so rainy the day we were there…it would have been nice to chill out in these. Great view!

I’ve never been…this is so fun to look at and wonder about what it’d be like to sit in one of those chairs & take on such views.

It’s like a city within a city. The reflections, I mean. Very cool!
